How to get French satellite TV programmes? Send this page address - CLICK HERE - to a friend ! Last updated June 2008. This information may be out of date! Align your dish at 19.2E and buy a TNTsat card, which is the French equivalent of BBC/ITV Freesat, but requires you to use a card (which lasts for at least 3 years from purchase). Here's a list of the channels you can watch via that package. You can buy the card with a receiver for about £195 but will probably be much cheaper to pay a visit to France to one of the electrical stores and see if you can buy one there. You could also purchase a subscription to canal+, which costs at least £395 for just the card. Comprehensive instructions can be found in our eBooks. I recommend "Installing Sky Digital TV" even though that is not what you are installing. Just remember that the satellite you want is at 19'E and not 28.2'E. If you install a "digital-ready" dish and universal LNB, you can be sure that it will work for both analogue and digital. If you install a dish aimed at 19'E with a bracket for a 2nd LNB aimed at 28.2'E it will also be ready for Sky Digital and/or BBC/ITV Freesat, should you want it. http://www.satcure.co.uk/book.htm As an introduction, download and read our FREE eBook "Understanding Sky Digital TV". Much of my answer will not make sense to you until you've read the books and other information. So print out my reply and refer back to it, ticking off each point as you understand it. |
