Standard Universal LNBs - (not for Sky minidish) ( not called lmb ) The LNBs on this page are NOT suitable for Sky minidishes. (See Page 1 for Sky minidish LNBs) Note: Photos of LNBs on our web site are for illustration only. Manufacturers change designs so frequently that we don't know what will be supplied to us from week to week. In some cases, brackets may need to be modified in order for LNBs to fit. Our Technical department will assist you as much as possible if you provide photographs to demonstrate any problems. |

(See Page 1 for Sky minidish LNBs) | | Dear Sir, I can't find a 0.1dB high gain LNB on your web site, nor one with gold-plated connectors. Can you tell me when you expect to stock these? | Yes, never. We will never knowingly rip you off. Unfortunately, there's a lot of gullible people out there. Read more... DO YOU REALLY NEED A NEW LNB? Many so-called "LNB faults" are caused by a simple bad connection. The bare copper wire corrodes. Before spending your hard-earned cash on a new LNB, you might like to cut back the cable a couple of inches and refit the plug. Coat the copper wires with silicone grease to prevent corrosion in the future. (We'd love to sell you a new LNB but we believe in honesty and we'll help you to save money whenever possible.) |

The LNBs on this page are NOT suitable for Sky minidishes. (See Page 1 for Sky minidish LNBs) Single-output LNBs Note: single-output LNBs are seldom used nowadays unless you have a specific reason - such as squeezing several LNBs together on one dish. Most people keep their options open by fitting at least a quad-output LNB, which provides four separate feeds for (say) four satellite TV receivers or two Sky+ or HD PVRs. (You can't split an LNB feed so be sure to install an LNB with as many outputs as you are likely to need in the future.) Inverto black premium single-output |

0.3dB INVACOM LNBs Invacom LNBs have exceptionally low cross-polar modulation, which means that vertically polarised signals cause very little interference with horizontally polarised signals on a nearby frequency, and vice-versa. This factor is important when the dish is large (i.e. 1.8m diameter or greater) and when strong signals exist on one polarisation and weak signals on the opposite polarisation. For example, this applies to some UK programmes in fringe areas of Europe and Scandinavia. With a small dish there is unlikely to be any advantage over an ordinary cheap LNB so you might as well save your money. Invacom Single-Output |
